Roger Price is a South African born Pharmacist who migrated to Australia in 1981 and is now resident in the United States.
He has had a multi-faceted career – spanning more than 5 decades – and has built up an impressive resume in a number of areas in human health.
After graduating from Rhodes University in South Africa, he went on to do post-graduate study in Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and then turned his attention away from the allopathic approach of symptom diagnosis and drug treatment to the more sensitive and intuitive avenues of mind-body balance, biochemistry, nutrition and weight management, remedial manual therapy, behavioral modification and natural therapies.
For the past 16 years he has been deeply involved in Orthodontics, Orthotropics, Myofunctional Orthodontics, Sleep Disorders, TMJ issues and Craniofacial Pain – and has acquired an impressive understanding of the underlying issues associated with these disciplines.
He constantly challenges the current ‘status quo’ and calls to account the over usage of often meaningless and misleading acronyms such as BMI, OSA, SDB, ADHD and many others, which are used indiscriminately and inappropriately in so many cases, labeling people unnecessarily.
